We provide outsourced accounting support — we are not a CPA firm ourselves and do not issue audit opinions, sign tax returns, or provide certified financial statements unless expressly stated in a signed engagement letter with a licensed professional.

2. Our Services

Depending on what you engage us for, our Services may include:

  • Bookkeeping & reconciliation — transaction categorization and bank/credit card reconciliation
  • AP/AR management — invoicing, bill pay, and aging report analysis
  • Payroll processing, including integration with platforms such as Gusto and ADP
  • Month-end close, accruals, and working paper preparation
  • Financial reporting, forecasting, and board-ready packages
  • Clean-up and catch-up bookkeeping projects
  • Tax preparation support and 1099 tracking for handoff to your CPA
  • Audit support and liaison with external auditors
  • Virtual CFO and advisory services

The exact scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for your engagement will be set out in a separate proposal or engagement letter, which governs over these Terms in case of conflict.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and timely financial records, access credentials, and supporting documents.
  • Review deliverables (reports, reconciliations, tax-ready financials) before relying on them for filings or decisions.
  • You, or your CPA/tax preparer, remain responsible for final tax filings, audit opinions, and regulatory submissions — our role is to prepare and support, not to certify.
  • We are not liable for errors or delays caused by incomplete, inaccurate, or late information or access from your side.

4. Confidentiality & Data

Your financial records, employee payroll data, and business information belong to you. We treat all such information as confidential and do not share it with third parties without your consent, except where necessary to deliver the Services (e.g., payroll platforms like Gusto/ADP) or as required by law.

Where we integrate with your accounting or payroll software, we access only what is needed to perform the engaged Services.

We retain records only as long as needed for the engagement and applicable statutory retention periods, then securely delete or return them.

5. Intellectual Property

Our internal templates, checklists, workflows, and reporting formats remain our property. Your books, records, and underlying data remain yours at all times.
